National Sport Trust Fund
Speed Skating Manitoba has partnered with the National Sport Trust Fund to support the Susan Auch Oval, the only official speed skating Oval in Manitoba!
The proceeds will be used to support the development of the Susan Auch Oval in the following ways:
Host community public skating nights to increase awareness of the Oval, and to provide development and outreach opportunities for the sport
Hold free public skating daily to allow equal opportunities for all Winnipeg and Manitoba citizens
Hold competitions to select provincial and national events
Purchase equipment and technology to allow for continual improvements for the facility.
The National Sport Trust Fund (NSTF) is a philanthropic gift-giving program established through the Canadian Council of Provincial and Territorial Sport Federations (CCPTSF) for the development of amateur sport on a national level. The CCPTSF is a Registered Canadian Amateur Athletic Association (RCAAA) with the Canada Revenue Agency. As a RCAAA, they are able to issue an official tax receipt for all qualifying donations of $20 or greater. Sport Manitoba is the Fund Manager in Manitoba.
