Skate the Oval is back!

Speed Skating Manitoba is excited to host the 9th Annual Skate the Oval, proudly sponsored by Bieber Wealth Management and JanSan Equipment!

Join us on Winnipeg’s largest outdoor ice surface for an afternoon of skating, hot chocolate, great music, and community fun! Bring your friends and family, your skates, and plenty of warm clothes.

Want to try something new? Try real speed skates and test your speed with our speed radar!

New this year: We are introducing speed skate rental reservations to help ensure everyone who wants to try a pair has the opportunity to do so. Be sure to reserve your rental time when you register! Registration is not required, but it is appreciated to help us plan for the event.

The first 400 people to register will receive a FREE Skate the Oval toque!

Once registration reaches 400 participants, registration will close. However, we still encourage you to come out and enjoy the event!
