Long Track Camp 2026

Please join us for Long Track Camp from 10am - 3pm at the Cindy Klassen Rec Complex. This camp is designed for club, Development Team, and Provincial Team skaters. Skaters 6 and up are welcome to attend. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact info@speedskatingmb.com.
The camp registration fee is $150 + GST. Registration deadline: December 17.
This is non-refundable unless you select the refundable upgrade option. In the event that SSM needs to cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances all registrations will be refunded with exception of the refundable upgrade fee. This is non-refundable, and event cancellation is not covered by the third-party partner.
Coach Mentorship Program
Speed Skating Manitoba values our coaches of all levels and strive to create opportunities for skill development. We are pleased to include a coaching mentorship session at Long Track Camp. This will be a FREE two day mentorship opportunity to learn and develop your skills under experienced SSM coaches.
Officiating Practice Event
We are planning to do an officials practice event and equipment run through December 28th from 12pm - 3pm. Lunch will be included. Please sign up so we know how many to plan for.
Parent/Volunteer Training
Speed Skating Manitoba is a volunteer-run organization and relies heavily on volunteers to support our competitions and events. There are a variety of volunteer roles to suit different skills, interests, and levels of experience.
We have exhibition races planned for the afternoon of camp and will need parent/volunteer support to help run the races. Parents, please plan to stay for the afternoon and get involved!
No experience is necessary. If you’re new to volunteering at a speed skating event, you’ll be supported by experienced volunteers and parents who can show you the ropes. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the sport and get involved in supporting our athletes.
